The owner family Schobert of the City Hotel Mödling has had loyal roots in the location for more than a century.

With a lot of courage, willingness to take risks and innovative spirit, they have adapted their entrepreneurial activities to – constantly changing – economic conditions.
A vehicle company became a freight & forwarding company and finally a car repair garage. In addition, the renting of flats, garages and commercial spaces was and still is carried out.

By the way, in the year 1913 there was already an inn right here at Wienerstrasse 5 in Mödling. So the course was set for hosting guests.

After the retirement of senior boss Gerhard Schobert with his traditional car repair garage, his wife Hilde Schobert fulfilled her childhood dream and launched herself fully into the new build of the new City Hotel Mödling.

Since then, the Schobert family and their team have been looking after our guests at the City Hotel Mödling with a lot of commitment, heart and soul.
